Chief Alice Fulk
Alice Fulk became the Chief of Police for the Arkansas State Capitol Police Department in October 2020, making her the first woman to be named to this position. Prior to her appointment, she retired from the Little Rock Police Department as an Assistant Chief of Police. She started as a Patrol Officer in 1992, and worked her way through the ranks. She worked in all areas of the Department – Patrol and Operations, Administrative to Investigative both criminal and administrative. She served as a member of the Command Staff for 17 years, and over 5 years as an Assistant Chief. She became the Department’s first female Assistant Chief in 2015. Chief Fulk holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management. Chief Fulk attended the Senior Management Institute for Police in 2016. She currently serves as a Board Member of Women and Children First, and as the Southeast Regional Vice-President for the Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police.
